This was taken a looong time ago – in fact, it was taken at my first assignment in Dubai, a charity event at the Montogomerie Golf Club if I remember correctly.

This should be filed under experimental photography more than anything else. It is a long exposure shot with a single flash fired multiple times around the car, which creates one light spot each time.

This was on the coast of South Africa, somewhere along the garden route. Can’t recall the exact location right now – but the coastal area in general is absolutely beautiful. I really like the color palette in this shot.

… well you know how it goes. A very “boring” shot in the sense that it’s just standard in every amateur’s portfolio nowadays. Why am I posting it regardless? Because I really wonder what the red light trail on the line on the very right is – somebody must have stopped or even turned halfway there while I took the shot. Thinking of it, it looks like there is a small service road or so leading down.

This was part of the fashion and hairstyle shooting I did a while back, there are some more images on the blog. In hindsight, two things bug me with this shot – the light shining on the brick wall (this was inside, so it came through a window) and the left side of her face is slightly too dark. The client liked the shot though.

… you need a shot of the Eiffel Tower. I do like the angle and the movement. Should really post more event photos and portraits, but I really enjoy urban and street photography.

It was a very foggy night in New York City with really low clouds, and the city lights cast an amazing glow on the buildings. Took this shot with the fisheye and decided to correct the perspective in photoshop for an extreme wide angle look.

Thought I would post some more event shots. This was also taken in Dubai at Peppermint Experience with Paul van Dyk (if I recall correctly). I love these shots where there is a lot to see. Very random.

I was asked to cover an event called Hotel Ezra Cornell during my time at the university – very interesting and well organized. Here is a shot of the table setup.

Taken in Cape Town, South Africa. Very nice city for photography, great scenery and amazing clouds (at least during the few days I visited).
