Towards the Sunshine

Taken in Cape Town, South Africa. Very nice city for photography, great scenery and amazing clouds (at least during the few days I visited).

Streets of Prague

Long exposure shot of the tram passing a station in Prague. Very nice city, definitely worth a visit!

In the Flowers

Sometimes (rarely) our cat seems to enjoy posing for the camera. This was taken a few years back on an old Kodak compact camera. Still came out quite nicely.

Over your head

This was taken when Paul van Dyk played in Dubai, just like this shot. I actually took this with the 8mm Fisheye, but removed the distortion via Photoshop. Unfortunately I can’t find the original photo.

Boat on the shore

This wooden boat (I can’t recall what you call this type of boat right now, anybody?) had seen better days – regardless two men came just a few minutes after I took this shot to drag it out to the sea. The local population of Nosy Be Island in Madagascar use these boats daily to catch fish. Due to the strong contrasts I felt a black and white version would work quite nicely.

Bubbles

Probably one of the funniest shootings I ever did.

On A Leash

… well not really. This little fellow was really keen on protecting his property. Taken on the shores of Tallinn, Estonia.

Readyforbusiness

For this shooting we were looking for some portfolio type business shots, so Dubai International Financial Centre seemed to be a good location. They don’t like people taking pictures there though (credit to them for allowing me to come back with written letter the week after though) – so instead I used Emirates Towers as background for this shot. Somewhat cheesy, but it does work.

Tropical Moon

Took this shot in Madagascar – wish I could have been there at full moon though. An album with more shots from this amazing island is on my Facebook (public).

The Roofs of Prague

This photo shows the city of Prague from the Petrin Observation Tower on the east side. The centre itself is beautiful and features architecture going back as far as Gothic and Romanic style, particularly in the old town. Also a good view on Charles Bridge. This shot was featured in the Urban Times.
